Ben is once again a trooper. He had a follow up on his hernia surgery. The MD said it has healed up nicely. He also had a shunt follow up. He is doing beautifully. Ben is full of laughs and smiles. He is a happy little guy cruising around on furniture and crawling around having Kate chase him. Ben reminds us daily just how grateful we are for all our children and what we have. He has really been a strong fighter for all that he has been through.
Kate is the most beautiful little girl. She is very reserved but once you win her heart you can be guaranteed a smile. Kate and Ben really enjoy each other and make each other laugh. The other day Kate was chasing Ben around and around the chair. They thought it was so funny. Kate is such a fast crawler that Ben would stop to see if she was behind him then he would take off again. It was so cute. Kate loves her Mommy, Daddy, Nonni and Nanny Yaya.
Oh Mr. Sam. Our three year old that insists he is not three. It took me a while to figure out why he was saying " I not three". It is because 3 year olds do not need to use a pacifier. He wants a paci. The other day I heard him in the car say to Kate "Thanks Kate for sharing your paci". Then he proceeds to take it out of her mouth and use it. Sam is doing great in school. The teachers say that he is a "perfect" student. That makes us proud! We would not say "perfect" around the 5-7 o'clock hours.
We all went to Pacific City with Poppa, Nonni, Auntie Megan and Uncle Matt. Sam had a great time running around on the beach and building sand castles. Next year we will go for a longer period of time as this trip went by too fast.
